Overview We are a one year old bakery bistro in Scituate harbor seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our fun team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring that all operations run smoothly. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in the fast-paced environment of the food industry and are passionate about providing exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Provide menu information and recommendations to guests, enhancing their experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining tables and waiting areas.
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Box pastries, make a variety of cold and hot drinks
• Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during food handling and service.

Skills

• Experience in the hospitality or food industry is preferred, particularly in restaurant or catering environments.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with barista or beverage service is a plus.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
