Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identifying inefficiencies and elaborating areas for improvement in our development technique across disciplines
• Maintaining, extending, and supporting our present development gear
• Building and guiding custom asset pipelines
• Growing Spry Fox's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and structures
• Collaborating with the team to generate candidate answers, weighing tradeoffs given the problem context and development timetable
• Implementing the selected answer and helping the adoption of the solution by the team

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A strong passion for empowering others to do their best work
• Experience with the overall device lifecycle: coming across issues, comparing potential answers, implementing tools, and evaluating their effectiveness
• Enjoyment in operating with custom standalone gear
• Experience growing gear that can be utilized by many game development disciplines
