Job Summary

We are looking for qualified and experienced tutors to provide in-person and remote support to students in Geometry, Algebra, and Pre-Calculus. As a tutor with our organization, you will work one-on-one with students in their homes, customize your approach to meet their individual needs, and help them achieve their academic goals. This is a part-time, contract position that offers a competitive pay rate of $22-27 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one tutoring support to students in Geometry, Algebra, and Pre-Calculus
• Customize your approach to meet the unique needs of each student
• Travel to student assignments (up to 30 minutes) as needed
• Maintain organized and reliable records of tutoring sessions
• Utilize basic computer and internet skills to communicate with students and parents

Requirements and Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or college students in their junior or senior year
• 1-2 years of tutoring or teaching experience (preferred)
• Understanding of local curriculum
• Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes to student assignments
• Organized, reliable, and dependable
• Basic computer and internet skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified teachers for Middle School or High School
• Teacher aides and/or paraprofessionals with classroom experience
