About the Role

As a Vehicle Operator, you will be responsible for operating a Tesla vehicle in a designated location for data collection. Your primary goal will be to collect high-quality data to contribute to the development of our autonomous vehicle systems. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and play a critical role in shaping the future of transportation.

This is an at-will, temporary role expected to last for approximately 3 months. We offer a flexible schedule, including day and night shifts, with the possibility of working one day per weekend. Overtime is also a possibility for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Tesla vehicle in a designated location for data collection
• Start and stop recording devices, performing minor device and software debugging as needed
• Review and file data collected during shifts
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve data collection strategies
• Write daily power reviews detailing observations and issues
• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working order and safe to operate

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Clean driving record and safe driving habits
• Minimum 2 years of daily driving experience
• Excellent attention to detail and observational skills
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with driver assistance systems
• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and their operation, including brakes and power-assisted steering
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day and night shifts, with the possibility of working one day per weekend
