About the Team Charter:

As part of the Core Platform team, you will be responsible for scaling our platform. A year and a half ago, we were doing 10-20,000 calls a day; now we are close to a million calls a day.

What you’ll do:

• Ownership over our core infrastructure (database, Kubernetes, Redis, etc.)

• Ownership over our release process (CI/CD and testing infrastructure)

• Ownership over our core data systems (external data syncing and internal analytics)

• Improving our developer tooling and managing our usage of AI coding and productivity tools

• Helping ensure that our systems and products are secure and compliant

• Helping to scale our core infrastructure and systems as our product scales

We’re looking for someone who has:

• A proven track record working in backend and Infra services

• Excitement about building core foundational systems early on at a start-up, at scale

• Experience and knowledge working with TypeScript. Google Kubernetes Engine. Postgres. Temporal

• the ability to build reliable, maintainable, secure systems at scale

• Worked with other developers to help them ship faster.

• The keen ability to be an accelerant to velocity, not a bottleneck

Compensation at Nooks for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance coverage, hybrid work, and unlimited paid time off.
