Senior Staff Engineer, ServiceNow (ITSM, Service Portal, SPM)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total experience 10+ years
• Strong working experience in technical specification and implementation of the ServiceNow with Service Portal, ITSM Module and ServiceNow SPM
• Experience in either of other modules i.e. . ITOM or ITAM, HAM Pro, SAM pro or GRC or SPM or HRSD and ITIL knowledge Hands-on experience in ServiceNow integrations with third-party systems.
• Strong understanding of ITIL principles
• Strong Understanding of business needs and the needs to standardize processes and accommodate into the design.
• Develops the technical solutions, implements them and performs the component Integration Tests.
• Configure ServiceNow using scripting (UI Policies/Actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Jelly scripting, Angular JS)
• Ability to explore and grasp new technologies.
• Proficient in communicating and driving technology solutions that support business objectives
• Ability to work effectively and manage partnerships with all areas and members of the business as well as all levels of the organization. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving and prioritization skills .
• Mentoring your team members in projects and helping them keep up with new technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Writing and reviewing great quality configuration.
• Understanding the client’s business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them in to technical design which elegantly meets the requirements
• Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers
• Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the client’s requirements
• Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
• Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
• Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed
• Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
• Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
