Who are you?

Job Context

  • Member of the local Opple Europe team

  • Works closely together with the other account managers in the region

Your responsibilities:

  • Implement and execute the commercial strategy for the B2B professional lighting channel within the assigned region.

  • Expand market coverage by identifying and acquiring new wholesale customers.

  • Develop and nurture relationships with key installation partners to drive business growth.

  • Consistently improve business performance by setting and achieving ambitious targets.

  • Deliver on both top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability goals as defined by regional leadership.

  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales to develop compelling business cases for regional expansion.

  • Foster long-term, trust-based relationships with customers to ensure loyalty and repeat business.

  • Collect and analyse market intelligence to inform strategic decisions and share insights with the marketing team.

  • Facilitate effective collaboration across internal departments and sales channels.

  • Provide structured feedback and insights from the field to support marketing and product development efforts.

Requirements

Essential Skills

  • Proven Track Record in B2B sales within the lighting-, building materials-, or industrial sectors.

  • Strong tactical and operational capabilities with a hands-on, practical approach.

  • Deep customer orientation with a passion for delivering outstanding service.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey empathy and clarity.

  • Persuasive sales acumen and the ability to influence decision-makers.

  • Professional demeanour and composure under pressure.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).

  • Familiarity with warehousing and distribution operations, including third-party logistics (3PL).

  • Fluency in English and French is required.
