What you'll be doing:

  • Act as the on-site quality representative at the contract manufacturer (CM), overseeing end-to-end quality processes for interconnect optical transceivers and CPO (Co Packaged Optics) sub assemblies – from incoming inspection to line process control and final assembly

  • Monitor and enforce manufacturing quality standards, including ESD controls, line setup, line audits and process adherence; identify and escalate quality risks proactively

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by assisting in product bring-up, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with cross-functional engineering teams across global locations

  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions (5D/8D reports) for quality incidents and support continuous improvement efforts at the CM site

  • Collaborate closely with NVIDIA engineering, NPI, supplier quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure product reliability and successful ramp to production

What we need to see:

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience in quality, process, or NPI engineering roles, preferably in high-tech manufacturing or optoelectronic components

  • Bachelor’s degree (and above) in Mechanical, Materials, Process, or Quality Engineering (or related technical field)

  • Strong knowledge of quality control tools and methodologies (SPC, 5D/8D, FMEA, root cause analysis)

  • Experience working closely with contract manufacturers (CMs), including on-site support and line audits

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing process controls, material handling, ESD standards, and product assembly flows

  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, communicate effectively with remote engineering teams – excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Comfortable working in an intense, fast-paced environment with multiple projects and shifting priorities
