Preschool playgroup facilitator to plan and run a variety of child & caregiver playgroups. May include, but not limited to: music & movement; storytime & craft; sensory play; process art. Positions are part time and and follow the school calendar. Hours per week vary depending on how many groups are facilitated per week (typically 3 - 12 hours per week) .
Applicants must have experience working with children and 0-6years old and their caregivers. Facilitators are responsible for planning activities following a framework, setting up, cleaning up and transporting materials to the group site.The ideal facilitator is friendly, enthusiastic, creative, an excellent communicator, open to new ideas and a great team player,. Playgroups are held in Newbury, Haverhill, Amesbury, Rowley, Salisbury, Merrimac, West Newbury, Groveland, & Newburyport. Facilitators will run group(s) in 1 or more of these communities.
Familiarity with the communities is a plus. Transportation required. Position is grant funded.
