This strongon-site positionnbsp;/strongis ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, service-focused, and thrives in a collaborative environment. The role requires strong administrative skills, discretion with sensitive information, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with professionalism and efficiency. The incumbent must possess the ability to work well within a team environment; and ability to relate in a gracious and efficient manner to the various constituencies of the Seminary. nbsp;strongPosition is part-time 20 hours/week./strong/ppnbsp;/ppstrongKey Responsibilities:/strong/pul type="disc"listrongRecords management/strong: Maintain accurate HR records and files (physical and electronic) in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.nbsp;/lilistrongHR Communications:nbsp;/strongAssist in drafting, proofreading, and distributing HR communications and documentation. Prepare documents for mailing or other distribution, including Service Award Notices, birthday cards and other correspondence./lilistrongReporting:/strongnbsp; Support HR reporting, including attendance and turnover reports; prepare employment verifications.strongnbsp;/strongPrepare other HR reports, as requested./lilistrongManage daily administrative operations of the HR office/strong, including:ul type="circle"liEntering weekly and monthly invoices and AMEX statements into Concur (GCTSrsquo;s accounting system)./liliMonitoring and responding to inquiries sent to the HR department email, forwarding messages as needed./liliMaintaining office supplies and organizing storage and filing systems./liliCollecting and sorting mail and correspondence./liliResponding to routine inquiries in person, by phone, and via email./li/ul/lilistrongCommunity Building Initiatives:/strongnbsp; Coordinate community-building initiatives and employee events across campuses./lilistrongWorkflow:/strongnbsp; Assist with paperwork and workflow for employee transfers, classification changes, and other employment actions. nbsp;Collaborate with department heads to ensure job descriptions are current and properly filed as roles evolve. nbsp;Prepare, distribute, and collect Adjunct Faculty Contracts each semester. nbsp;Distribute and collect Full Faculty Contracts annually. nbsp;Support the Assistant Director with the Open Enrollment process annually./liliPerforms other related duties as assigned or requested./li/ulpstrongnbsp;/strong/ppstrongKey Competencies:/strong/pul type="disc"liExcellent verbal and written communication skills.nbsp;/liliDemonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion./liliOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently./li/ululliStrong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with administration, faculty, staff, students, and the public./liliDemonstrated commitment to collegiality, diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness in all interactions./liliService-oriented and proactive, with a collaborative approach to working across campuses and departments./liliExcellent time management skills: able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously./li/ulpnbsp;/ppstrongEducation and Experience:/strong/pul type="disc"liAssociates degree or equivalent experience./lili1-2 yearsnbsp;of administrative assistant experience preferred./liliProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with Concur or other accounting software a plus./li/ulpnbsp;/ppnbsp;/ppnbsp;/p/div/div
