About the Front Office University Internship

Our Front Office University Internship is a fully remote role that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere. As a Front Office University Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the front office operations of a Marriott hotel, working closely with our experienced team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:

  • Guest Services: Providing exceptional guest services, including check-in, check-out, and responding to guest inquiries and concerns.
  • Front Desk Operations: Assisting with front desk operations, including managing room assignments, handling guest complaints, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communication: Communicating effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional guest services, including check-in, check-out, and responding to guest inquiries and concerns.

  • Assist with front desk operations, including managing room assignments, handling guest complaints, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Identify and resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Essential Qualifications

* Current Student Status: Currently enrolled in a university or college program.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

* Hospitality Experience: Previous experience in the hospitality industry, either through work or internship.

  • Leadership Skills: Ability to take on leadership roles and responsibilities, with a proven track record of success.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in multiple languages, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
