Sr. Actuarial Analyst, ALDP - Remote

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with Essbase/financial systems to extract financial restatement data to feed forecasting process and reporting
  • Perform detailed medical cost modeling and analysis
  • Analyze utilization, cost, and financial data
  • Work in Excel, VBA, SQL, R/Python, to maintain/develop/enhance actuarial modeling and reporting
  • Perform data quality checks and investigate root causes of identified issues

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Math, or related quantitative field
  • 2+ years of experience in Healthcare Economics, Actuarial, or similar role
  • Ability to manage work and deliverables with strict adherence to timelines associated with financial close and regular forecast cycles
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
  • Coding experience, specifically with SQL and R or Python
  • On the Actuarial exam track, having passed 2 or more Actuarial exams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with forecasting, reserving, other aspects of medical cost analysis
  • Experience in working with medical claims data, especially at line level detail
  • Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly, concisely, and persuasively
  • Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
