Job Summary

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and patterns, and providing actionable insights to inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction. This is a full-time remote position, with a salary of $27/hour and a flexible work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

* Execute existing reporting and analytical obligations (30%): + Develop and maintain complex data models and reports to support business decision-making + Analyze large data sets to identify trends and patterns + Develop and implement data visualization tools to communicate insights to stakeholders

• Use data analysis tools to create new dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc requests (20%):

+ Develop and maintain data warehouses and data marts + Create and maintain data visualizations and reports + Develop and implement data mining and predictive analytics techniques

• Ensure the quality of work output by demonstrating a keen attention to detail (20%):

+ Develop and maintain data quality control processes + Identify and resolve data quality issues + Develop and implement data validation and verification processes

• Foster additional technical skills and domain expertise within the core functional team (20%):

+ Develop and maintain technical skills in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization + Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization + Mentor and train junior team members on data analysis and visualization techniques

• Present findings in easily understood ways, focusing on how the data analysis fits into the overall business plan (10%):

+ Develop and maintain presentations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders + Develop and implement data storytelling techniques to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders

Direct Supervisor/Direct Reports

This position reports to a Director and has no immediate reports.

Travel Requirements

This position typically requires less than 10% of the time for temporary travel.

Physical Requirements

This position is typically spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. Occasionally, there may be a need to move or lift light objects.

Working Conditions

This position is located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be rare and not surprising.

Preferred Qualifications

* Work experience with SQL Server, Teradata, Prophet, or equivalent data set frameworks

• 3 years of work experience in data mining, statistical analysis, evaluating, or potentially estimating
• Earlier direct involvement in investigating the significant topic (e.g. Store network, Marketing, Events, etc.)
• B.S. in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Finance, or related quantitative field
