About the Role

This 12-week travel nursing assignment is scheduled to begin on June 30, 2025, and requires a minimum of 36 hours of work per week. As a Night Shift Travel RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to 5-6 Med/Surg patients or 3-4 PCU patients. Your expertise will be crucial in managing complex cases, including post-operative vascular surgeries, thoracic surgeries, Bipap dependent patients, and critical drips.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg and PCU patients, assessing their needs and developing individualized care plans.
• Manage and monitor patients with critical drips, such as amiodarone, precedex, high dose cardizem, and high dose nitroglycerin.
• Demonstrate proficiency in A-line management and other advanced medical procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records to document patient information and care plans.
• Participate in shift handoffs and report changes in patient conditions to ensure continuity of care.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Ohio or eligible for compact licensure.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med-Surg and/or PCU nursing.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly preferred:

• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Additional certifications, such as CCRN or CMC.
• Experience with critical care or step-down unit patients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
