Salesforce Health Cloud developer - Korn Ferry

Title: Salesforce Health Cloud Developer Location: Remote (working PST/CST Hours) Client Industry: Professional Services/Healthcare Compensation: $70-$75/hr. (Contract)

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Salesforce Health Cloud Developer to join our Salesforce delivery team. The ideal candidate will design, build, and customize solutions on the Salesforce platform, ensuring scalability, compliance, and alignment with healthcare industry standards. This role requires hands-on development experience, a strong grasp of Salesforce best practices, and familiarity with healthcare workflows (e.g., patient access, provider management, care coordination).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Salesforce solutions, with a focus on Health Cloud features such as care plans, clinical data models, and provider/patient relationship management.
• Build Apex classes, triggers, LWC (Lightning Web Components), and Flows to meet business requirements.
• Configure Health Cloud data models including Patient, Provider, Care Team, and Clinical Data.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems (e.g., Epic, Genesys, MuleSoft, HL7/FHIR APIs) using REST/SOAP web services.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities using CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with business analysts, administrators, and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and other healthcare data security regulations.
• Contribute to Salesforce release management, performance tuning, and environment strategy.

Skills Required

• Hands-on expertise in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, LWC, Aura Components, Flows, and Triggers.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Health Cloud data model and features.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems (HL7/FHIR, EHR/EMR integrations preferred).
• Proficiency in Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming).
• Experience with Version Control (Git), CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Familiarity with Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Service Cloud a plus.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance (HIPAA, PHI/PII handling).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Salesforce Shield, Event Monitoring, and Data Masking.
• Understanding of OmniStudio (OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors).
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Vertex AI or Salesforce Agentforce for AI-driven patient engagement (a plus).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Education & Work Experience

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

• 3+ years in Salesforce development, including hands-on Health Cloud work

• Salesforce Platform Developer I required; Platform Developer II and/or Health Cloud certification preferred

• Experience delivering solutions in regulated healthcare environments
