MS Dynamics 365 Financial Systems Consultant - TalentFish LLC

Title: MS Dynamics 365 Financial Systems Consultant Location: Remote USA (Chicago area preferred) Job type: Contract 3 - 6 months Overview We are seeking a MS D365 Financial Systems Consultant with a finance-first mindset and technical expertise. This is a remote 3- 6 month contract engagement.

• The Financial Data & Systems Analyst will report to the VP of IT while supporting the VP of Finance. You will bridge the gap between finance operations and technology, ensuring accurate data, robust analytics, and optimal system performance across finance-related platforms.
• The ideal candidate in this role will have a strong understanding of finance and experience with data validations and analytics.

Qualifications

• Strong background in finance systems, data, and financial analytics with proven ability to connect business needs to system capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with financial systems and reporting tools, for example MS Business Intelligence Tools (Power BI, SSRS), D365, QuickBooks, and Salesforce.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, and reporting.
• Excellent data analysis and validation skills, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Finance leadership to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable system and data solutions.
• Perform data validation and ensure the integrity of financial and operational data across multiple platforms.
• Analyze datasets to deliver actionable insights that drive informed decision-making.
• Leverage SQL skills for querying, data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting across multiple financial systems and data sources.
• Provide subject matter expertise in finance systems, processes, and reporting.
• Support and optimize usage of key systems, including:
• Microsoft BI (Business Intelligence) Power BI
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
• QuickBooks
• Salesforce

• Troubleshoot issues across systems, identify root causes, and recommend system/process improvements.
• Provide analytics and insights, translating financial operations into actionable reports.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and Business Operations teams to streamline reporting and analytics workflows.

Compensation Information

This role requires authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. The expected hourly rate for this position is $52 - $74 W2 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
