Your Role Will Include
- Managing the IT team and daily operations, including staff development, training, and performance reviews.
- Leading implementation of the Council’s ICT Strategy and driving continual service improvement.
- Ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of voice/data infrastructure and networks.

- Managing IT budgets, procurement, and the IT capital programme.
- Overseeing the implementation of new and upgraded business systems, including cloud migration projects.
- Maintaining effective IT support through a responsive helpdesk service.
- Supporting business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and auditors, while managing IT policies and compliance.
- Acting as deputy to the Head of IT when required.
- Establish and drive a continuous improvement programme for the IT service.
