General Summary of Position

MedStar Harbor Hospital is looking for experienced nurses to join our NICU in part-time and per diem positions.

Unit Highlights

At MedStar Health Harbor Hospital's Special Care Newborn Nursery, a Level II NICU, we provide specialized care for newborns born at or after 32 weeks who require a higher level of attention and support. We are proud to be part of our Certified Baby-Friendly Women's Health Unit, which signifies our commitment to providing exceptional care to both mothers and their precious newborns. With a 10-bed unit, 24/7 Neonatologist coverage, and the guidance of our Special Care Nursery Assistant Director of Nursing, you'll have the resources and support you need to excel in this unique healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.

This position has a hiring range of $35.00 - $56.91
