Business Analyst - Data Science Team

Millennium’s Data Science Group (“DSG”) is looking to hire a Business Analyst to spearhead our user engagement and outreach strategy across DSG’s global client base. The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with DSG team to understand their offerings, communicate their value to various stakeholders, and foster strong relationships with users to ensure their needs and feedback are addressed.

Principal Responsibilities:

• User Engagement Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to promote user awareness and engagement with DSG’s offerings.
• Outreach Programs: Plan and execute outreach programs, including new joiner introductions, roundtables, training sessions.
• Stakeholder Communication: Plan, manage and execute all aspects of DSG’s stakeholder communication including wikis, newsletters, and new offerings announcements.
• User Feedback: Collect, analyze, and report on user feedback to inform product improvements and enhancements.
• Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of outreach initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure cohesive outreach efforts.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify user needs, preferences, and trends to guide engagement strategies.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on user engagement activities and outcomes, presenting findings to senior management.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in user engagement processes and strategies.

Qualifications/Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in a business analyst or similar role, preferably within a data-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of data science concepts and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate technical and data science concepts into user-friendly language.
• Experience developing and executing engagement and outreach programs.
• Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
