Senior Marketing Engineer (Remote)

Remote · USA Full-time New today

As the Senior Marketing Engineer, you will be the technical backbone of the marketing team, designing and developing custom solutions that bridge gaps between platforms, automate manual processes, and unlock new capabilities beyond our core martech stack.

You will partner closely with Platform Operations, Marketing Operations, RevOps, and Analytics to ensure that data, systems, and automation are seamlessly integrated to support scalable and innovative marketing programs. This is a builder role for someone who is passionate about applying software engineering, data engineering, and automation to transform marketing performance.

This role will report to the Director, Marketing Operations, a critical part of our connected GTM Operations team. You’ll bring a track record of proven success, preferably in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.

What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain custom scripts, APIs, connectors, and micro-apps to enhance martech systems (Salesforce, Segment, Chameleon, etc)
  • Develop AI-driven automations such as: Predictive lead scoring models, next-best-action or next-best-offer engines, automated content or subject line personalization using generative AI, smart routing or prioritization algorithms.
  • Partner with data science teams or use embedded AI tools to integrate machine learning models into marketing workflows.
  • Collaborate with Platform Ops to ensure automations align with governance, scalability, and performance standards.
  • Assist in building data pipelines that power AI models, reporting, and advanced analytics.
  • Ensure data cleanliness and enrichment to support accurate predictions and personalization.
  • Collaborate with Analytics teams to deliver insight-ready datasets.

What you’ll bring

  • 4+ years in marketing engineering, marketing technology, data engineering, or software development.
  • Strong coding skills: JavaScript (Node.js), Python, SQL, and API development.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (e.g., predictive modeling, clustering, natural language processing) — no need to be a data scientist, but comfortable integrating AI tools or APIs.
  • Experience working with martech platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Segment, Clay) and cloud integrations.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation, lead management, and customer journeys.
  • Excellent problem-solving, innovation, and communication skills.

Benefits

  • Healthcare: 90-100% paid premiums for medical, dental, and vision plans for employee and dependents + on demand health care concierge
  • HSA, FSA, & DCFSA: Pre-tax savings plans for healthcare and dependent care, with up to a $600 annual employer contribution to the HSA plan (if enrolled in HSA medical plan)
  • 100% paid short and long term disability plus life + AD&D benefits
  • Learning & Development: $500 annually towards professional development opportunities + $250 annually towards personal development opportunities
  • Flexible Time Off: Flexible vacation policy for strong, fully charged batteries
  • 16 Weeks Paid Parental Leave: An inclusive policy to ensure you have time with your newborn, newly adopted, or foster child (available after six months of employment)
  • Work Remotely: Flexible hours and work from home + $1,000 annually to cover necessary business related items for your home office
  • 401K: Reach your financial goals while reducing your taxes
